Heavy Indian accented caller, stating I took out a payday loan and never paid it back. I told him I have proof that I've never received a payday loan ever. He gave no way to dispute, told me I had 2 options, pay an amount in which he never disclosed, or he'll mail me a summons. Claimed to be with a company called Langer and Langer Associates, told me to appear in court to prove I didn't take it, gave me a court date of, but would not give me a specific court, he told me not to worry about that part of it. Would not give me a physical mailing address to their company, I advised not to call my POE, they have repeatedly called, claiming to be Officer "so and so", various names. this number needs to be shut down, they are trying to scam people out of money.

These people call several times a day. Thru the wonder info above. and seen the fax number, I was inclined to send these people a fax telling them to remove my phone number ASAP. And this was their notice of Do Not call. since being sent via fax, I have confirmation of their notice being received. So, if they violate it, they will have to pay up to $3,000.00 in damages.
